Product Marketing Manager - Irvine, CA

CORTEX | DAM is a feature rich digital asset management (DAM) system used to organize, present and license large-scale media libraries.


We are looking for a well-rounded product marketing manager to own and manage the launch of powerful, market leading features to a wide range of internal and external audiences. You will become an expert on our customer personas  and the competitive landscape.

You will be working closely with the CEO, marketing leadership, product and sales team, and customer-facing departments to gather information on our customers and use it to help explain the value of CORTEX | DAM in a way that resonates with the audience we are trying to reach. Your role will be a key link to ensure the product and features we build reach the audience we are building it for.


  • Own and manage the process for launching new products services, and features.

  • Conduct research on the competitive landscape and document the position of our offerings relative to others
Gather information on our customer personas and their unique needs through research, observation, and conversations with customer-facing staff

  • Create engaging marketing and sales collateral for use during sales, training, customer success, and website marketing
  • Help define product categories and packaging for target audiences
Gather and analyze data to inform product strategy and decisions


The ideal candidate for this role loves defining, understanding, and creatively solving for customer pain points with technology. You thrive on owning projects from start to finish, whether that means keeping others on track or diving in to make things happen.

You’re very comfortable working in a small team alongside the executives and partners of the business. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoy getting your “hands dirty” by initiating or supporting with growth projects that may come up ad hoc. You need to be proactive and self-directed; on a day-to-day basis, you’ll often set your own agenda.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be comfortable creating materials for a wide range functions and industries, whether that’s a Digital Asset Librarian looking to better manage their metadata, an agency looking to manage the Digital Asset workflows, or a member of the Orange Logic sales team. Orange Logic provides customized and robust DAM software to our customers, so you’ll need to be comfortable getting technical.


  • Successful track record of B2B product marketing for a technology company (2-5 yrs)
  • Proven experience managing projects and delivering materials on a deadline
  • Ability to translate product features into benefits and position them for specific audiences

  • Experience developing compelling product marketing collateral
 such as; slide decks, brochures, video content, etc.
  • Demonstrates analytical success, capacity for developing and understanding strategy

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Fluency using Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Drive


  • Experience marketing Software as a Service (SaaS) and/or Digital Asset Management

  • Experience conducting survey-based customer research 

  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite

  • Proficiency analyzing research data in Excel, SPSS, Stata, etc.

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in marketing, psychology, product management, or business administration

  • Pragmatic Marketing Certification

Lead UX Designer - Irvine, CA

We are a fast growing software company with a need for someone experienced in User Experience/Content Generation. This role will be filled by someone with an INNATE TALENT AND DEEP PASSION for UX Design. Someone who will use this talent and passion to refine the user experience so it creates unmatched customer delight!

This person will:

  • Support successful delivery of user experience with process flows, prototypes and wireframes
  • Lead development of models and customer-journey maps
  • Produce videos on workflows and experience
  • Lead user research and testing activities and deliverables
  • Refine the user experience for Cortex and its clients
  • Collaborate with account managers, developers and other team members


About You:

Do you LOVE Designing User Experiences that are elegant and delightful? Do you find yourself critiquing applications and asking yourself, "what would I do different to make this UX better?" Do you eat, sleep, and live UX? Can you prove it? :)

Successful candidate should have the following basic skills:

  • College degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Solid people skills
  • 5-6 years user experience/content generation work for an enterprise software company
  • UX/wireframing software like Visio, Omnigraffle, Axure, InDesign
  • Good knowledge of visual design/front end development
