At Orange Logic, we’re adding new integrations with each new release. And while we can offer customers any of the integrations we have in our system, sometimes they don’t know an integration is available.

To help you figure out what you might be missing, here’s a quick rundown of a few unsung integrations.

DAM Integration: Shutterstock

Did you know you can add your Shutterstock files straight to your DAM — without taking time to download or upload them? Starting with Cortex Xanadu, you just have to connect your Shutterstock account to Cortex, and you’ll have your stock images right at your fingertips.

If you like, you can even automate file transfers, so your new Shutterstock purchases are moved into Cortex without any extra work on your end.

DAM Integration: Adobe Suite

Our Adobe integrations are among some of the most powerful in Cortex. They’re also very easy to set up and use. A simple plugin lets you quickly add Cortex assets to Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, InDesign, and Illustrator projects. Once you’re in Adobe, just save your work to create a new version of your asset in Cortex. Previous saves stay in Cortex, giving you secure backup versions as well.

We also offer an advanced module for Adobe InDesign files. This template module lets you create custom collateral your whole organization can use. Design brochures, flyers, and other documents, then add fields that users can customize, even if they don’t have Adobe InDesign software themselves.

DAM Integration: Brightcove

If you host videos through Brightcove, you can connect with the video-on-demand platform using Cortex. After a simple setup process, you can start sending content to Brightcove in a quick, one-click process.

Once you share a video to Brightcove from Cortex, you can edit metadata or upload a new version of the video whenever you like.

DAM Integration: Facebook

The typical workflow: Find an image or video and download it, use a project management tool to get approval for the image and copy, upload the media to Facebook or your social media scheduler, track the analytics through Facebook.

Except if you’re grabbing that asset from Cortex, you don’t have to leave the DAM to finish your post. Cortex and its Facebook integration let you do all of the following:

  • Find the image or video you want to share by searching your DAM
  • Plan out a post in a Facebook template in Cortex
  • Right from the template, tag anyone who has to approve the post before it goes out.
  • Post immediately or schedule the post to go up at a later time
  • Check in on Likes, Comments, and Shares your asset receives on Facebook and other social media platforms
  • Save time because you’re not going back and forth between platforms.

DAM Integration: Dropbox and Box

Teams within your organization — or contractors and vendors outside it — often use third-party storage to share their assets. Make it easy for them to send those assets to your DAM with a direct link between Cortex and Dropbox.

Once the integration is set up, you can even automatically sync Dropbox files with Cortex so that you don’t have to manually transfer over assets.

DAM Integration: Mouseflow

How exactly are your users interacting with your DAM? If you’re not sure of the answer, you might want to give our Mouseflow integration a try. Mouseflow uses heatmaps to show which parts of a website get the most attention. In this case, you can use it to see how users handle an upgrade or how unregistered users interact with the public side of your DAM. If they aren’t behaving how you’d like them to, you add training or make adjustments to improve the flow of your public site.

DAM Integration: Signiant Media Shuttle

Cortex lets you share assets in a safe, secure way. But if your IT Team is already a fan of Signiant’s Media Shuttle, we can manage sharing through that, too.

When you share through the Signiant integration, the file is shared through a Media Shuttle — not through Cortex. That way any outside recipients never have any access to Cortex or Cortex assets.

These are just a few of the dozens of integrations we have available. And if you don’t see one that you need, let us know! It may already be in the works, or we can talk about adding it to a future release.

Bring it all together with an intuitive, customizable DAM platform.
