IRVINE, CA, October 18, 2022 – Orange Logic, an enterprise digital asset management (DAM) company, recently completed its 2022 HIPAA Risk Assessment, conducted by Gazelle Consulting, LLC — a third-party consulting firm. There were no HIPAA compliance risks identified during the Assessment.

The purpose of this assessment was to ensure the company’s adherence to the Security Management Standard of the HIPAA Security Rule, which requires businesses and organizations that handle healthcare-related information to “implement policies and procedures to prevent, detect, contain, and correct security violations.” (45 C.F.R. § 164.308 (a)(1)). 

The assessment team evaluated protected health information (PHI) procedures and practices, IT security systems and protocols, and technical and non-technical safeguards that protect the confidentiality, availability, and security of PHI. Gazelle maintained that Orange Logic’s strong compliance rating is supported by the company’s adherence to ISO 27001 standards.

Gazelle Consulting complimented Orange Logic’s program maintenance and documentation, stating that the DAM firm possesses a mature compliance program that continues to evolve with the organization year-over-year.
