This role is embedded within Orange Logic’s product team and works cross-functionally with product management, UX design, development, and solutions. The educational content writer is a strategic contributor to product planning and enablement, ensuring that educational content supports product adoption, customer success, and revenue growth.
Your Role at Orange Logic:
- Participate in product planning (annual and quarterly objectives, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.) to understand product strategy and ensure educational needs are identified early.
- Align educational content priorities with business goals, such as time-to-value, feature adoption, and revenue impact.
- Effectively plan, prioritize, and execute multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced product environment, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
- Develop expert-level knowledge of the Orange Logic platform, including understanding foundational and technical concepts, through independent research and collaboration with subject matter experts.
- Determine the type of content that will best serve the target audience and meet business goals.
- Develop courseware and cohesive learning paths for our product training program, OrangeU, that drives adoption, retention, and expansion.
- Create conceptual and tutorial videos from conception to publication, including idea generation, scripting, and video production.
- Write engaging documents with clear, detailed instructions that provide clear explanations of complex concepts.
- Write and maintain clear, accurate API documentation for the developer portal that enables customers and internal stakeholders to build successful integrations.
- Evaluate legacy documentation and transform it into effective educational material.
- Analyze content analytics (page views, search logs, support tickets, etc.) and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve educational content and ensure it supports learning and adoption.
- Review team members’ work and provide objective feedback focused on making the content effective and engaging for the target audience.
Ideal Qualifications:
- 3+ years of technical writing experience in a growing SaaS company.
- Experience working in an agile or cross-functional team structure.
- Familiarity with product and learning analytics.
- Exceptional writing and grammatical skills.
- Great storyteller who can take any information and transform it into understandable, engaging written content.
- Passionate about teaching, learning, and understanding the target audience.
- Ability to think outside the box. You can learn about a concept from a technical perspective, establish a deep understanding of the concept, and tailor your approach to ensure that the content presented is clear, logical, and easy-to-understand.
- Excellent collaboration, time management, and project management skills.
- Excellent problem solving, strategic thinking, and organizational skills.
- Bachelor's degree in technical writing, English, education, instructional design, or equivalent field or related experience.

Compensation:
The target compensation for this position is $80,000 - 100,000 in most remote locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
