Orange Logic is building a small team of AI Hackers: deeply technical, relentlessly curious builders who love turning ambitious ideas into working systems. You will use code, large language models and AI development tools to accomplish things that previously required large teams, long timelines or entirely new technology.
Your Role at Orange Logic:
- Take on technical problems that appear too difficult, expensive or time-consuming and build a working proof that changes what the team believes is possible
- Create end-to-end products, prototypes and internal systems, often starting with a rough idea instead of a detailed specification
- Use large language models and coding agents such as OpenAI Codex, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor or comparable tools as a primary part of your development workflow
- Write and review the code needed to move from concept to a usable application, including frontend experiences, backend services, data, integrations and deployment
- Combine models, APIs, databases, open-source software and existing services in creative ways to unlock entirely new capabilities
- Build LLM-powered systems using techniques such as structured generation, tool use, retrieval, agents, model routing, evaluation and human review
- Explore AI-powered website assembly, content orchestration, metadata, search, automation and agentic workflows for complex enterprise media libraries. Put prototypes in front of users and stakeholders quickly, observe what works and revise based on evidence rather than extended debate
- Know when to optimize for speed and when security, permissions, reliability, cost or maintainability require deeper engineering
- Explain what you built, why it works, where it could fail and what would be required to move it into production
Ideal Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience building and shipping software systems.
- You genuinely enjoy building. Side projects, experiments and unfinished ideas are part of how you learn, not something you do only when assigned
- A portfolio of working products, prototypes, repositories, open-source contributions or hackathon builds that demonstrates unusual execution speed and technical depth
- Strong full-stack engineering fundamentals and the ability to personally build across frontend, backend, data and deployment layers
- Hands-on experience creating applications with commercial or open-source LLMs, including model APIs, context design, tool calling or agentic workflows
- The ability to use AI-generated code aggressively while independently reviewing architecture, debugging failures and recognizing security or quality risks
- High ownership and resourcefulness. When requirements are incomplete or technology is new, you start testing possible paths instead of waiting for certainty
- Strong product instinct and the ability to distinguish a clever demo from a system that could solve a meaningful customer or business problem
- Clear communication, low ego and comfort working directly with product, engineering and business leaders
- Preferred: Building AI-native SaaS products, developer tools, website builders, content systems, automations or workflow platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, model evaluation, observability, multimodal models, MCP or multi-agent systems
- Experience with digital asset management, content management, metadata, taxonomy, search relevance or enterprise media workflows
- Founder, early-stage startup, hackathon or open-source experience where you personally shipped across multiple parts of the stack
- Evidence that you have taken a prototype beyond the happy path by addressing reliability, permissions, security, performance or cost

Compensation:
The target compensation for this position is $180,000 - $225,000 in most remote locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
